.1RS with those mods is a great car and i would take it over a stock .2 non RS.
5 lug wheels, fat *** and a suspension that can be set up to allow maximum grip is where i wanna be.

I think .2 would make this car work really hard on a big track like Watkins or VIR where power and df go a long way you'd also look a whole lot less boy racer driving it home especially if it was black or silver.
Also the radiators wouldn't get dinged up and you'd have a pleasant DD. The more I think about it the more I'd take the .2 non RS. 2k fixes the lug issue and who wants those 19 inch wheels anyway.
Once again though I think 120 would get you in the seat of a .2 RS with 10 to 20k miles on it and that will be the real keeper of the 997 lot. Once the warranty runs out and it's a few years older probably 100k and that's a lot of car for 100k. You'd have to buy a .1 then drop 50k into it to keep up. It's quite possibly the 1st perfect DD/HPDE car ever made.

Compared to a stock .2 non RS this .1RS has a lot of potential. ( already has seats, harness, bar etc.... all things the stock .2 would need after the fact.)
Now that being said, if the price for this RS was 100k of course

this car for $120 is a better buy than the .1RS at $100

assuming PPIs on both check out and all things being equal etc..

gearing alone is worth the delta, add increased power, etc... it is a no brainer... but $20K is $20K as well...
I do like the door pulls as well.. prefer black over red as black does not get dirty.... I have yellow seatbelts and I hate them.

I have to admit I like the pulls to, not in red though. I am only modding things that will give me weight savings, performance or safety...bling can come later
