I would be willing to wager, if you did indeed advertise on your vehicle and trailer, and didn't write off EVERYTHING, you would probably be okay.
I have a wrapped daily for my business. I write off all of that as it's my work vehicle. However, if you went with say 25-30% for a track vehicle and approached it from the advertising angle, I think you would be in good shape from everything I read. Of course, you'd actually have to advertise on your vehicle and trailer.

I'm sure there is a ruling somewhere on this...
Much like you can write of a certain percentage of your home office depending on its use.

bottom line of dealing with IRS is - you are considered guilty until proven innocent. so make sure you have all the proof you can have based on items mentioned above - responses from people whose business you got, ability to prove income received from that advertising, etc.
