Default 2 different E88's

So in wheel shopping, I ran across 2 different styles for the E88 wheel. One looks specific to the GT3 RS, hopefully the GT3 also.

Can you guys offer any insight?

Here are the two:

The standard one that I've been eyeing. 10 Y spokes:

Rim Behind center;

Rim in front of Center;

The alternate E88 style. 7 Y spokes. Looks like a GT3 RS designation.

^^ Edit, looks like the 7-Y spokes is only in center lock for the 2010 and up models.

Anyways, partial to the center in front of the rim. opinions welcome.

The placement of the center section (inwards or reversed) depends on the ordered sizes, offsets and current BBS availability on inner and outer barrels..
It's the same model.

The 7y design is for centerlock cars. I like the design of the 5 lug version better and like you I like the face in front of center as well.

Cool! I realized that the 7y was for CL applications after I posted it.

So as it stands right now, this is my top contender for wheels. 18" preferably but I'm keeping an open mind as price will dictate what I end up with.

They actually make the first style in CL option as well. FYI,

But in 18's for your car, you'll have the faces on the outside with 1.5 and 2.5' lips
