What are my stock sport seats worth?

Really? Anything to back that up? I've seen another 3 with them in and used for track days. Anyone had any problems with them?

He sold the car awhile back. But, if not tested, then perhaps they wouldn't be worth the risk. Maybe I will do the same idea with Recaro pole positions. I already have one of those anyway. Just trying to think of ways to save a few bucks and still have a good street car ride.

I can think of a 1000 ways and places to save money on a GT3 project, but none of them includes any of the basic safety items.
Always buy quality seats, belts and safety equipment and make sure to follow the manufacturer's documentation for proper installation.

There's a chap in our PCA region that has some Recaro Pole Positions for sale.
If interested, let me know.
I'm afraid the link wouldn't work for you as it requires a login... Here's a try....

Two points:
1. Every time someone wants to sell his car with upgraded seats, he'd like to buy a set of stock seats to install for the sale. So post that you'll trade your stock seats plus cash for the better seats. I bet it doesn't take long.
2. Swapping seats in and out takes a lot more than a few minutes. You have to careful. And I would very hesitant to use that impact wrench because it's really easy to cross-thread those bolt holes. I have done it.

Agree Terry. I don't want to swap anymore. I did that with my Turbo and it was a PITA! I ended up selling the buckets and decided to drive with the stock seats. If I put a set of GT buckets in they will stay unless I sell the car at which point I will put the stockers back in and sell the buckets.

If you're on a budget get a set of Recaros; you can't go wrong.
Or if you want OEM get the GT2 buckets or the CGT/GT3 buckets.
Either way keep the stock seats.
I just picked up a set of used CGT/GT3 buckets & absolutely love them; they really transform the diving experience.
Good luck!
