Problem is that 3 tenths separate 10 drivers at the DE Cup. Check our DE Cup Grand Prix results at Sebring and Daytona

Ya, I know - I was thinking more in terms of my own performance, not timing or racing against others, and for that I was pleasantly surprised for a $14 iphone app. I will get a more sophisticated device in the near future, but this is holding me over for now.

Just buy the Harry's Lap Timer...it's not a waste of money. It works like it says. You will probably want to get the Tom Tom cradel for it too.

This is what I am using
in conjunction with the Emprum Ultimate GPS signal booster, as recommended by Harry.

Winning a DE is easy!!!
Start from the pit lane after the group is already on track, you will start from the back of the pack, and you will get plenty of point-by passing moving chicanes. Michelin slicks help as well, very likely you will get the most point-by in that session a win the DE.

I have Harry's Lap timer in my iPhone.
It always presents faster lap times than my Traqmate, and my AMB Transponder. It is amazing for bragging rights, even more optimistic than a 997 GT3 RS speedometer.
Why people with $150k+ track day cars cannot afford a decent data acquisition system always lets me wondering.

Seriously, Harry's is pretty good- optimistic maybe.

I certainly didn't blow $150K on my track car. Harry's is great but don't bother bringing your iPhone to Thunderhill without a dish on your roof to find a signal....just useless.

Do you have signal booster like i referred to above? Never been to thunderhill, but at my local tracks it has usually worked well. A couple times i could not get a good signal when there was heavy cloud cover.
