Actually, it was 1:175's only, for some reason my screen showed 1:174 coming over the line.
Video in the AM. Just got home unloaded the trailer and car washer guy should be here by 9am.
All the car needs is a rear brake duct ;-0

Randy;
Please watch in 1080HD for exact car placement views to go along with the data I sent you. No monkeying on the wheel.
I have not looked at the data, but a tenth here a tenth there and pretty soon you're a second faster
Probably I did it all in T9 because a few times I thought my car was going to get donated to Roebling Road while I could still see the multiple 360 skid marks you left behind.........

Reter,
That's the best driving I have seen in a video of yours, and the best by any Aero Beetle boy.
Bring your VW to Homestead with PBOC, or even better, register next weekend in TTS and grab the class.

LOL, but youmust admire Randy trying everything possible
Yes, folks missed a beautiful weekend at Roebling. We did get a Thunderstorm around noon on Saturday, but that was when my radiator kep failed and I was filling it up again. It rained full so to speak. Lucky me.
Sunday was very nice weather. we got 8!! sessions per day as they combined Supersolo and Instructors and there were still very few cars on track and the point by's came early and easy. Very nice group we had, just small.
I only show the clean laps LOL, The next one was not so pretty when I got delusions of a 1:16 LOL. Got slapped on the wrist pretty quickly.
Thanks Rad, this was just one of those days where it all came together. Nice weather, good tires, not too hungover
TTS; When we run out of cheap Toyo's and Nitto's I will have to because I can't afford Hoosiers for sure. Seems like SuperSolo but with free tires. We will see where the GT3 DE CUP travels.. Can't make Homestead we will go RA - Barber - AMP in April.

Peter, great job at RR!!! 1:17.5 is about 1 sec off of the 4.0 that Leh drove a few weeks ago while dialing in the suspension and tires. Of course, it was not his car so he was probably 8/10s! LOL.

Excellent Peter! Smooth is fast at RRR. I'm surprised that coming inside of the carousel is fast, but you are taking advantage of the camber in the turn. I will have to try that next time out. Great job man!

It was Leh, one of my favorite American drivers, a superb talent among the Pros.
I have watched Trakcar's video 4 times already. 3 laps within hundreds of a second of each other, that shows consistency, something plenty of Club Racers lack. He makes very minor corrections when needed, on a perfectly smooth line.
This is a car running the soft stock springs/shocks and sway bars, with an alignment that makes the car as easy to drive on the streets as any other street car, on tires that can be driven on the streets. I once drove 8,000 miles on the streets on a set of RA1, including DE and autoX. A totally legit street car.
I'm very impressed
