.2 much more planted, no?
Yes, feels softer, more movement in roll and pitch but less bouncy and just sticks better.

Hmmm I thought PASM was only adjusting in stiff mode. Are you guys sure it still adjusts when soft?

My .2 gt3 works great in sport but in normal it feels horrible on the track. Like 2 diff cars to me... Still a lot to learn about the beast an her limits...

If you search my PASM re-valve thread, I post some info on this after my research with the Bilstein guy. Think of Regular going to Firm as a 1st order valving effect. But the 2nd order effects are going on in the back ground in both modes but they are very small in comparison. If you have never driven a 6gt3 you would never know. It is a feel thing. Basically, Dell, who tracking his 6gt3 a lot then did massive suspension changes to it and now owns a 7gt3 can feel it. My bet is that after another 10 track days, as his brain adapts to the new car, he will feel it less to not at all - it just is what it is. Your brain has to slowly develop confidence in what a car is going to do in certain situations and then when it does your brain finds different things to spend its CPU worrying about.

Bingo! This is the exact discussion Scott and I were having after discussing my comparison thought between the GT3 platforms.

As I said, I love the 100% analog nature of the 6GT3 as I know that it is ALL me doing the drivng, etc.. However, the 7GT3 introduces "driver aids" that I must learn to assimilate into my driving style and until I figure out (with time) what the car will do in certain situations, I will continue having these "feel" moments. It's just a matter of learning what the computer wants me to do rather than what I want to know and know what works

I run my .1 GT3 in normal mode, most of the time. Sport is just too stiff for everything but the smoothest tracks.

With that being said, I've never felt the suspension interfere in either normal or sport mode. Seems pretty consistent. Just harder or softer depending on your setting. And this is coming from previously tracking a 996 with pss9's. If it is doing something, it must be barely perceptible to the most sensitive of asses

I'd like to say I have a pretty sensitive ****. Maybe it's an abnormal number of nerve endings terminated in my glutes

PASM continually adjusts the damping force in both normal and sport modes. In normal, it's over a "softer" range. In sport, it's over a "stiffer" range. In general there is some overlap between the two ranges so that the stiff end of "normal" overlaps with the soft end of "sport". The computer continually reads a bunch of sensors and makes real-time adjustments to the damping based on those inputs. Somewhere I have a chart that illustrates this. If I can find it, I'll post it. That will make it a lot clearer.
