I bit on one with the cables.

Bought a used center console to "cut" as needed. To keep my original one "mint."
Have an old black leather stock 996 boot...will allow my shop to use/cut as they feel looks best (if it even fits).

I am at the point where the car is about having fun, not the next person. All the original stuff is in storage in soft containers...seats, etc., so the next person can go vanilla stock. Not me. Life is too short (and new 911's are too much).

Will report back.
