Forgot to add that about the only way I see it not happening is if we get dumped on with rain between now and the Chin dates. Rain would delay some of the production from happening.

That track looks amazing, a bit narrow and challenging for passing, but it flows, not the point-and-shoot stuff I don like.
Thanks for the video Seth.

With the width and DB levels, it seems like it will not be a great track for racing on. Wonder if they can lure some top flight racing (Grand-Am, ALMS) there......
However if they can race at Lime Rock, they can probably race there too.

Yes Rad, Bring that Fiat up to Georgia for a visit. Would love to see it run at the track!

Track looks nice. I must say if I was the contractor out there working I would be pissed and pull my men off the job! They don't need a fatality before it opens.

Lewis, it is going to be a lot of fun when it opens!
MarkG123: Understood about the dangers posed. Video makes it appear faster than reality. GPS verified speeds around the workers was under 30 MPH less than cars flying by at a construction site on public roads.

Seth,
Good stuff, I am picking on you. I did see you were careful going past the construction zones. It will be nice to have another track nearby, I am in Charlotte.

I wish I could run this track but unfortunately their sound limits are way too low. It'll be interesting to see how the GT3 RS' run with aftermarket exhausts or even stock exhausts and pass the 98db limit.

Its not the track that enforce the sound limits but the community around it. Funny thing about this one is it is in the middle of nowhere but some people with horse farms near are worried it will harm the sensitive hearing of the horses.
98db at AMP is not going to be that big of a deal. At the elevation and humidity for this area it is similar in sound to Roebling Road at 103db. Also the way it is measured helps too. It is A-rated which measures in the range of 500hz to 20khz. Hope this helps with the sound problems.
