Your right 997gt3north - I had that backwards. Make that slightly in on the rear and slightly out on the front. Thank you for brining that up. I just double checked my paperwork. I should have checked before I typed that up.

Now see what happens(I say to myself)? Tomorrow I will just have to go out and drive my GT3 and make triple sure. Thanks again!

I ran them at Nola a couple weeks ago. Great tire. Very fast and predictable. They like higher temps, but not too high as supposedly the treadblock comes off....I think I was running mine at 38/40 hot or something like that. They do squeal like a pig when pushed though, so be prepared for some serious audible feed back.

You might be right. I'll have to try them at Sebring for a comparison.

That's probably the half inch of tread block on there. Shocking how deep it is...

I assume the same but it would be interesting to you know if there's any difference in the belt layup or if the harder durometer rubber contributes as well.

I have heard nothing so far, they are most likely to be homologated on the 991, I suspect that as long as Michelin and Pirelli continue to make PS2, MPSC+, Corsas etc that Porsche/Michelin will *not* homologate the MPSS on the 997...

since the MPSS belts are made of twaron fibre I think they are actually lighter than the MPSC material, so I would suggest that the weight difference is primarily from the block depth differences (and shoulder compound) ... would be interesting to see what a shaved MPSS would weigh and perform like!

Already did that in Jan and plan on another set in March. Damn One Lap sure runs up the tire budget.

I did do a day @CMP in the wet and they felt really good especially the front bite, no understeer at all.

Is the higher pressure to compensate for the softer sidewalls or because they need more camber than the Cups (workaround for a street alignment?) on the track?

The PS2's a crap compared to the Super Sports. I've been using them since they came out. Track or street. Also the price is right on the super sports.

Any suggestions on where I should set cold tire pressure at on the PSS?
