Watch youtube 'how to' videos to death then have a go pick the easer and smaller areas and be prepared to start afresh until you sort a method out that works and go from there.

I did the entire front (full hood, both full guards) and the rockers on my 6GT3 track car. I had never done it before and had no help. I did watch videos and someone doing one of my other cars.

It turned out fine and most ask who I used to do the job because it looks like a pro did it. I didn't do the front bar as it was already rashes pretty good and due a repaint and I can tell the front bar would have been worse.

I say give it go. How hard can it be?

I'm with the guy who mentioned struggling with the iPad/iPhone film... tried to apply film to part of the headlights and it was a mess...
