Cracks usually appear on old tyres: the rubber looses its "plasticity", I would guess that if you track them you can't rely on normal behaviour,too much of a risk to go full out!....

I am reliably informed that these cracks are most likely "cosmetic" as long as you cannot see any of the underlying material/construction...
however, it is probably indicative of "old" rubber, as such it will not perform as well as it might, you should check the date of manufacture on the sides ...
