I'm a slow learner. And I was lazy not looking at any data.

I just assumed my front tires were garbage and there was no fun to be had, but Randy proved me wrong so I went to back to work.

Randy showed me and I cleaned up the last session finally to get a few 2:196 and they were the last 4 laps of the weekend. I would have gotten there eventually. But Randy is over a half secomnd faster..

Yes, he trail braked better, after I turned off SC it helped a lot.
We looked at data the fast corners we are even, the 4 slow corners I lost it all.

If you want to have fun bring new front tires, go karting or even better bring a bike.

I was just looking at apexes at such a boring low speed that I was sure to jump them, but then anded up missing it by 4'. I'm no good et excersises in patience..

So a combination of not enough trail braking + too aggressive throttle after apex (which suddenly lifts the nose & shrinks the front contact patches, thus inducing sudden understeer). Pretty common!

You can run in NASA without a full cage? I thought PCA and NASA both required full cages...

As your driving gets better, you'll learn to drive with all nannies off.

NOLA looks boring, too long of a straight, and no flow except those esses.

As a radiologist in private practice (boy was I smuck for picking this career) I even have to plan my bowel movements. I suppose my days are over.
All the best, enjoy and I live vicariously.

Ranger- fellow rad... I hear you! I read these threads with envy. I literally have to plan for my track events 6-9 months in advance. Hard to even get a friday off for lapping sometimes. How I would love the freedom!! It's fun to read about these adventures. Some day...
