[QUOTE=Veloce Raptor;9275628] But poo-pooing the opportunity for instructors to learn different lines?
There are no "race" lines.

They do not poo poo instructors to learn different lines......they make you teach a green student one distinct line that they call the "party line". once you go solo you can drive anywhere on the track at your own pleasure.
I disagree with you....there is a "race line" and a "DE line. I have seen both.
Teach a green student a "race line" and he will have a handful to deal with
There are no "race" lines.

Well, apparently they gave Gavin **** flor teaching instructors other lines, as was pointed out earlier in this thread.
And no, there are fast lines, and slow lines. Sometimes what is taught to beginner DE students (the "party" line) has some of each, for safety reasons. I understand & support that. There are no "race" lines.

Izzone, PCA Suncoast Cheif Track Instrustor John Opphile directly berated me for hiring a pro racing coach (Chris Hall) and for driving the so called racing line ( VR's faster line). This was during the last instructor weekend. I was told not to drive that race/faster line and that Gavin was wrong to even teach and show that line. I tried to explain I do not teach new students this line, I follow the DE party line.
Some other things happened that morning and for that...I will not attend anymore PCA Suncoast events until this particular CTI is gone. He is no good for the club, will not listen to anything and is actually hard to get along with. I love instructing and take instructing very seriously. There loss not mine as I will continue to instuct with the other groups I run with. There are a lot of PCA Suncoast instructors that need a serious refresher in instructing and learn new driving and instructing skills. I leav my ego at home and am always willing to learn new things and take the instructing skills from guys like Chris Hall and use them with my students. I have a few students that always want to request me. I must be doing something correct...but at the same time I will never stop learning new driving and instructing skills.
I'm not going to drag other people into this or name their names, they can come forward if they want to but they are on this forum and have had run in's with this Suncoast CTI.

...and the power in the upper marble towers with Suncoast were not happy at all with Gavins track walk. That is why he did not do the track walk back in November and during this last track walk only the party line was shown.....heck I know the party DE line in my sleep...I teach it to my new students....I want to learn other things.

He's been busy drinking beer and driving fast. I hear he has work to do as well.
There is news; Izzone went a couple of tenths faster then Trakcar at RR last week, I guess I go there soon to correct this.
Don't ask me what he did with the steerings wheel!
