First is the PITA factor. What a hassle trying to get it upgraded.
Second there is the economic factor (will this be less or more $?). And what will it be worth when I try to unload it?
Finally there is the question of parity with other DE Cup cars (2010/11 3.8 RS's). If I am slower after all the upgrades I will want to kill myself. If I am faster then I am bored, and called a cheater, etc...

The 2007/8 RS green monster cannot keep up with 2010/11 3.8 RS so it will need much $ in engine/suspension upgrades.

by positive visualization do you mean telling your wife it's on par when she sees the bill or pretending its on par?
thats a bit of wishful thinking , but then again I did say that myself about the US and CAD.
hehehe

Clarke,
My car with some heavier springs (not too heavy so you have to re valve but bump it to say 700 rear 400 front), add some solid rear arms, lower it an inch or even 2 (it's silly high right now because it'll rub like a **** with the hoos on it) slap on some hooters and you'll be fast enough to give those .2s hell![thumbup](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/thumbup.gif)
PS W/O the front cage in it's down another 60lbs or so. I'd say with just one race seat in it it's a good 150 lbs lighter than most stock .2s with roll bar and stock seats.
PSS it's always more fun to make a slow car go fast rather than under drive a fast car.
