just today i confirmed my upper strut monoballs finally gave way, i thought for a half of a month that i hear something funny, so finally got into frunk and after some jumping and rocking it became apparent there is a distinctive knock coming from strut tower mounts. mechanic says it may be ignored for a while, it is not going to get anywhere. $300 a pair part. nothing is immortal, 2 years of good beating and they are on the way out...

but it is interesting how ear can separate normal clunks and knocks from something new added into that mix of steel monoballs rattlebox.
