Default Ray's New G12 Centerlock Formula Silver Wheels on White 4.0

Fitted these up on my car for some photos.
  • Uncompromising fit, finish and strength
  • Knurled bead seats (like a true racing wheel) reduce/prevent tire rotation on rim under severe conditions
  • Limited production - pride of ownership for a unique product
  • Decades long reputation of quality- Ray's and Volk Racing
  • Ready to ship today
  • GT3RS, GT2RS, GT3RS 4.0 specific
  • OE offsets and diameters - perfect fit
  • Lightweight design improves driving dynamics: 19 3/4 lbs front and 21 lbs rear

Contact pete@trackrat.com to purchase.

Notice the depth of the silver finish and that the inner barrel of the wheel is black. Makes for a stunning effect when viewed in person. The gloss black and matte black finish are of equally superb quality. A person seeking the ultimate wheel for the ultimate Porsche cars will not be disappointed, that I can assure you

Wow, those things are sick! Great look Pete. As if the 4.0 needed anything to set it apart from the crowd...

Game, set and match!!! They are probably the nicest wheels I've seen yet!

Awesome looking wheels but the purist in me cringes. The 4.0 is already perfect, why mess with it?

I guess I'm the lone dissenter: looks too dark and too much shine. IMO lighter color would blend better with this color scheme, but you can't mess up a supermodel so car looks great regardless...

I hear you and understand the point. Aside from bling there are two significant functional benefits of upgrading the wheels: For me weight reduction is very important and I save about 19 lbs of rotating, unsprung weight. That is huge and I can feel the difference. Remember my 4.0 was ordered as a stripper with only A/C, and I added a 10lb LiON battery.

For track use the knurled bead seats help prevent the tire from rotating on the rim under heavy braking and acceleration thereby offering more predictable responses and preserving the tire/wheel balance. Once you rotate the tire on the rim, and if you track you will, then you have lost the wheel balance.

The Formula Silver has a clearcoat finish to give it the depth it has and that is where the shine comes from. Also it was a lovely sunny day here in Reno combined with ~5000 altitude (even stronger sun) = some shiny wheel jewelery

Coated in track clag with some curb rash will take that shine right off! lol...

All joking aside, when seen in person the silver of the accents on the car (decals/diveplanes/winglets/etc) are a perfect match for the hue of silver of the wheels. I am not a fan of shiny silver wheels in general so I respect and understand the dissenting viewpoints. But "it's different this time" haha

Thanks to all for the kind comments! Doug (LawJDC)- come see them in person, give me a holler on my cell this weekend?

I am a bit surprised that no one has mentioned the three things that are definitely not right with that car?
