Too funny !
Seriously, when you had trouble in the past with dealers what did Porsche Cars North America say? I assume you had some paperwork from the dealership listing agreed to price, approximate build month and/or year, etc. that you could share with PCNA.

it's a beauty, like the others, love the decal delete
I'll keep an eye peeled for you for when you get up to, and around the city

yes I forgot to say that also, I love it without all the tacky decals. Its nice for a change to see one without. I say make it a total sleeper and go around town lining up all the 3.8's just for fun

quite frankly PCNA either can't or unwilling to do much. it's all about making money... i can dig out a LOT of dirt on a lot of dealership i dealt with. you think mel rose place or desperate house wives are DRAMA.... you aint see nothing yet.

600 total cars world wide, right?
I'm curious then, besides the marketing thing behind the interior badge, what good is the 'Number __ of 600'? Collectors often go for the first or last car manufactured so this numbering system just screws that up. Last one manufactured would be determined by the VIN.
I know mooty doesn't care about this aspect but I couldn't help asking.
Was this the same system used with the 2004-2005 Carrera GT?

yes 600 world wide, less than 200 in USA but i dont know the exact USA numbers.
i dont know how CGT are numbered. dont have one of those precious.
the number plates are strictly marketing. cars evolve slower than watches. you look at AP. they have special editions for
shaq
arnauld
baricallo (sp, the F1 driver, as you see i dont give sh*t about F1 racing)
than with each edition there versions, like baricello 1, 2, x.
it never ends.
the truly special one's are the one's that are not special editions.
all i really want is the 4.0 engine, gearbox and suspension. you can put that on a yugo, i'll take it.
