Default What brand coilover is on a 2007 GT3?

I always thought that the coilover system on the 2007 997.1 GT3 was made my Bilstein. As I was lowering the car this afternoon, I realized that the coilover system on my 997.1 is made by H&R. Is this the stock setup?

You're both right. The springs are H&R while the shocks are Bilstein.

Ahh, now that makes sense as GMG was telling me that my suspension was Bilstein and I reading H&R on my springs. Thanks.

On another note, I was just noticing that this GT forum has way more activity than any of the other forums on this site. Just an observation.

Something about the GT3 model and the crowd who buy them and how they use them.

I suppose the philosophy of porsche building a street car for occasional track use has won over the hearts of those who enjoy a dual use car and to those who can only dream of Cup car.

The sound and experience of the motor alone instills a passion unlike any other porsche model.
