Dell, when did your son go to a booster....at a certain height, so the seatbelt crossed over effectively, or weight (I think the recommended weight was 40 lbs)? Curious, as I may have to do something like this if I'm ever to get back in my car again.

I was thinking the same.
Would be a good replacement for the schoolbus ad where the yellow turbo picks up a kid.

It's not 80# that is the requirement to get into a booster seat, it is 80# that is the requirement if you are under 80#.

Graduating to a booster is at 40# which my boy just recently graduated to the 40# club. With that said, the Recaro Pro Booster starts at 30# and 37".

FYI...I would check with you state as these are state laws, not USDOT laws.

Are those ejection handles on that seat?

Enjoy Dell!

Haha! They sure do look like it don't they? They are vertical axis seat adjustments for rise and lower.

Yes, I was thinking the same thing when I saw Dell's pics and then P1CR's video.

There is some marketing gold in here.

Car makes the kid feel good, which in turn makes the parent feel good. Memories that will last a life time, even if the event only lasted a few minutes.

Per all the CT sites I was just on there is no specific law on booster seats. The law mentions that they must be >60 lbs and 7 yrs old to graduate from a seat or a booster to regular adult restraints. THey seem to suggest that you just need to adhere to the recommendations from the booster mfg in determining when you can graduate from a reg baby seat to a booster.

Need to feed my sons more food.
