Dell, I will probably go to a couple of local days at Summit Point first in March. I am installing a stand-alone EFI system on the car, and getting a set of CCWs that will accomodate 335s on the rear. We expect the car to be capable of decent times. It's got a decent power to weight ratio (5.6:1) and should be fairly well balanced. I may take it down to Aerodyn2 to get the aero baselined. Although I've run 30-32 tests on these cars in that tunnel, this particular car hasn't been in it. I'll for sure have it at the First Settlers event in May!

12" rim takes well 315 or 335 rubber. either of them with 235 tire in front will result in understeer. i tried my car on 245/335 rubber and it did not work well at all, so i had to put 275 in front. you can do 245/315 or 255/315 which exists in R888 but i am not sure how well 255 tire will fit on 8.5 rim, it really wants 9", like on a cup car where it gets 9" front and 11" rear if i am not mistaken.
that is why essentially i sold my OZs in the end as for reasons i cannot comprehend they do not have 9" or 9.5" wide fronts.
305 fits fine on a 12" rim. That is how stock GT3 comes. I used 12x18 with 305 for the last 5 years. I do agree the stock 235 on front pushes/under steers. I learned that last weekend at Senring on my new MPSC. Also could that MPCS are not as grippy as R888.

I did the Dension Gateway 500 and Bluetooth Adapter (BTA1500). Give me iPod, Aux-In, USB stick, and BT connection to my iPhone4S. Heck, I can even stream Pandora from my iPhone through BT to the system. Bought from Eric at Bumperplugs. GREAT SERVICE!

Install I did over two evenings a couple hours each night. I take my time as I want it done right. Amazingly, I didn't take pics of the install. It was a little of a pain since I had to remove the glovebox, a few trim pieces and pull the PCM unit out to get to the fiber optic lines.

it truly depends of what kind of tire you runa and how do you want sidewalls to sit on a rim. like on cup cars with 10/12 wide rims slicks have sidewalls stretched a lot to limit tire movement to lowest limit but regular DOT tires do not like sidewall stretching and street tires like it even less, so, it is obviosly an open topic how far to go with it.

i like staggered tires much more than stretched ones, but it`s me.

which ever had the stiffist side wall inorder to corner hard on track. reduced flex could save lots of time. may be abit more ruf of a ride but its worth it on track.

Great looking setup Dell. Would you be willing to snap off a few more pics a little further away and some 3/4 shots to see the flushness. I've got a white .1 also and am looking for a new set of wheels for her.
