Yes it was the flics etc were repainted black by Porsche cars Australia before delivery. they did a great job.....
CRex: Yep I understand your point of view, if everyone liked the same thing life would be pretty boring and colorless and we would all be driving Black Model T fords or something similar

Such a great looking car.
I'm pretty sure that Sydney is getting at least one, unfortunately its not mine
I'm also surprised that this being a US website they havent all died with laughter at the price we pay for one over here.......

If I could afford a 4.0 - I would do it just like yours. No decals except for the 4.0 on the door sides. Understated is the right call. Looking at a used 997.2 GT3 RS and the first thing I will do is to remove the flag decals. Probably add the old school P O R S C H E side door decals with the small pin stripes.
