Good for you Dell. Please give us a track comparison between both GT3s when you get comfortable with her.

Mods
1) Tires (Michelin Pilot Super Sport Tires): Front 245/35/19, Rear 305/30/19
2) 'Slightly' Upped Front and Rear Springs (Swift Springs #336 front, #672 rear)
3) Rear Brake Ducts from 2010 GT3 - 20 minute install - saves rear pads
4) Alignment (-2.2f, -1.7r)
All will be wife approved or not noticed
- The PSS tires in my opinion are a must if you daily drive (plus softer sidewall makes for better daily + work in rain)
- the slightly upped springs (especially the front from OE 230#s really helps on track)
- 997 has more rear bias than your old 996 and they forgot the ducts (they put them on the 2010)
- 997 doesn't need the rear camber that your 996 did (wider 12" rim)

Thanks again everybody. I'm absolutely stoked to get back in the GT3 fold.
The car already has navigation. That's what the $3K PCM option I listed in the OP is.
Can't wait to do a comparo

Thanks for the tips! Added them to the wish list.
navigation.

i am not 100% sure but i beleive it can be used with GT3 PCM as it is same unit.
