I own a GT3 RS and wanted to ask you guys if this is normal....when turning the key to start the car with clutch depressed, the car sometimes does not start. I have to try for about a minute to remove key and start over. Then all of a sudden the car decides to start. Am I doing something wrong here?

Steering wheel must be locked - wiggle to release before turning key.

Interesting....
My car has just recently begun doing this also. Dont think mats are in the way. Most time starts fine, others i have to really stand on clutch.

I have similar problems with mine. If it's not the mat, it could be the clutch switch. Seem to recall someone here recently having a similar problem and replacing the switch solved the problem.

Weird, mine did the same thing today and the mat was not an issue.
"Clutch sensor" huh? I'll discuss that with dealer service rep.

Me too! My Clutch sensor switch was replaced under warrantee a few months back. I had the same start issues. I understood once the problem occurs it's best to have fixed sooner rather than later as it will continue to get worse and worse until point of failure. Any guesses how I learned that?
