Default 2010 gt3 rear seat

Does anyone know if the rear tub still has the mounts for seat belts like the 07-08 did? If anyone has stripped a .2 gt3 photos of the mounts/ threaded bungs would be great.

Thanks

the inserts on the door sides of the car (where the tequipment bar mounts) are still there but the inserts on the tunnel sides are no longer present. no pictures, but visually confirmed.

I am told that the rear floorpan is single skin rather than the double skin on the 997.1 to save weight. Therefore can't take the lbs...

The skin is definitely very thin--buckles under weight and you'll know what I'm talking about once you try it. Sure you're not planning to put a 100-lb labrador back there, but do take that into consideration...

That the skin buckles is first hand knowledge. Strippers ain't my type so I wouldn't comment on others' posts...

I can confirm that a regular GT3 is single skin in the tunnel area. I've seen comments from folks with the 997.2 RS saying that the seat belt inserts are "all there" but the comment was made in the context of installing a harness bar which only uses the outside holes, so I suspect they are the same. There is another thread where the poster installs seat belts in a 997.1 GT3 and had to source a bracket from a Carrera that wasn't available to purchase. One wonders if the missing 'second skin' could be similarly sourced....

if you plan on putting rear seats there for kids and God forbid anything will ever happen to those kids in an accident you will get into total legal nightmare when insurance people will find out about that.
I would not do it.

Why would you buy a GT3 if you want a rear seat? On the back of the sport buckets there is a warning tag about the seatbacks being an injury hazard for rear seat passengers. If you want a street car with rear seats, just buy a Carrera S or a Turbo.

that's funny

the warning is there simply because there are no rear seats
another 911 of the same vintage has the same "dangerous" seat backs and they have rear seats
