That is some serious miles!

Now, as raw as the GT3 is (especially in red) and how much more plush a Benz would be in a subtle color for the drive what car do you think you would use next time for a long haul?

It's great to see someone drive their cars. Good for you for enjoying that beautiful car.

Very nice. I drove 54 through KS and across OK and TX panhandles into NM for a change. I got a change alright. A (Dalhart based) TX sheriff ticketed me but I fought the ticket and was granted PBA and all ended well.

I was in my 02 Boxster and the car stood out like a sore thumb.

The sheriff was behind a big rig and when he passed my car going the other way he snapped on his light bar lights and made a madman u-turn to come after me.

And this was in the middle of the night.

I can't imagine the reaction your car received.

Sincerely,

Macster.

Congrats on an epic journey. I can second the comfort (as unlikely as it seems!) of the Sport Buckets. My wife and I drove from VA to Monterey a couple years back with no ill effects.

It's good to know GT3s are getting such good exercise, even away from the track!
