Agreed. Spend a bit more up front to get the whole car done and done right. Then no stress, and super easy to maintain.

Atl Fahrer, I think I may just go ahead and cover it all.

One thought regarding tracking- if you have never been on the track, I'd highly recommend attending the Porsche 2 day PDE at Barber. They do a great job teaching the art of driving a 911 at speed on the track (lead/follow with radio comm) and build you up slowly to decent track speeds. You'd get the benefit of learning from the best, and of course getting a feel for Barber prior to a DE...

Apart from that, DEs will change your life. It is a true adrenaline addiction...

blake, I went on a tear this year. I did the Precision, Performance, and Masters classes this year. I got the adrenaline addiction at the Precision. Knew then I would buy a car. Decided at the Masters it would be a GT3. When we did the track walk, the sound of it coming toward us cemented the decision
Thanks to jlr, a RL'er in Birmingham who was generous enough to let me drive his 3, the search was completed.

Mike, I agree. I think I will just do it all.

drl, I'm guessing you wrapped the entire car. Did your installer do a neat job around the air intakes, bumperettes, etc?
What's a fair price for the job?

The car came with bumper, hood, mirrors, and half front fenders wrapped. I left bumper, hood, mirrors as is. Premier in SoCal redid the full fender and the rest of the car that was not wrapped. They did an outstanding job but its not cheap.

The bits not done by Premier are shoddy by comparison, and it bugs me. Eventually, once it gets a little more banged up, I will have them redo those parts. Front bumper is tricky and the current wrap has many exposed areas/lines that leave the paint vulnerable and are a big PITA when waxing (not supposed to get wax on film lines).
