Come on out to Barber. I will be there in December. Should be fun

Well done! They look so good in red! I considered an RS in red but couldn't find one. No wonder porsche used red as the marketing car Enjoy!

Thanks guys! I have joined PCA and may try to make Barber in Dec. if it doesn't fill up.

I have a question about paint protection film. Should I just go ahead and wrap the entire car? I got a quote to put xPel ultimate on basically everything except the wing, rear decklid, and rear bumper. My thinking was to stop at the seam where rear bumper and rear qtr panel meet because the remaining area may not take much abuse and it would probably be hard to do a good job with the film in those intricate areas anyway. What do y'all think?

Wrap at least full front, half roof, rocker panels, front of rear fenders and rear fender lips. That's the minimum, especially of you're going to track the car.

Congrats - welcome to Porsche, and more importantly - welcome to the GT3!

One thought regarding tracking- if you have never been on the track, I'd highly recommend attending the Porsche 2 day PDE at Barber. They do a great job teaching the art of driving a 911 at speed on the track (lead/follow with radio comm) and build you up slowly to decent track speeds. You'd get the benefit of learning from the best, and of course getting a feel for Barber prior to a DE...

Apart from that, DEs will change your life. It is a true adrenaline addiction...

I would wrap the whole car so paint will be preserved evenly. If u do just sections the exposed areas will be uneven versus the covered area. Mike
