Glad you like 'em and thanks for the support! You should actually be able to gradually go to a more aggressive pad if need be since all you're wearing is a steel rotor that can be replaced:P The 72 veins are terrific for helping reduce heat too

PS Removing the centerlocks is fun eh?

These are my front rotors... I'm assuming I would class them cracked but not yet structurally cracked??? right???

Any feedback from the frequent trackers welcome....

You can still use those. For how long depends on your track and brake technique and pads.

Hey Mike, track is Philip Island... Fast track but I'm usually not so harsh on the brakes- pads are OEM. Won't be doing my 1 tank of gas between stops this time... Moving to PFC rotors after this next track day... I'm thinking they are good... Not used to dealing with cracking rotors and don't know how far to push them...

Don't forget that Alcon makes Slotted Rotors for both the front and rear.

I've heard good things about Alcon.

But their website is not user friendly. If you don't know your brakes its tough to browse - no categorization by manufactuer/model.

Alcon's website is really poor...I agree. But, their rotors are top shelf. As we are a licensed distributor for them I have more information available then the website reflects. Our own website needs an extensive overhaul to cover the numerous products Alcon provides (as well as others we are adding daily).

We also carry a Proprietary Slotted ( 6 slots ) OEM Rotor from Sebro that fits the GT3 Front & Rear that is fantastic. Currently it is not on our site as I am still awaiting the production shipment from Germany. We originally brought in several sets for testing and found them better then many other options out there.

You still have life left in those, maybe even a set of pads worth. When the cracks from the center get out to over a 1/4", you should start looking at replacements. I am getting 2 sets of pads per 1 set of front OEM rotors. After my current set of pads I am switching to PF slotted front rotors. My new front rotors are built with the updated hats and supposed to arrive tomorrow. Despite that I will be on my 5th set of pads, I will still be on my first set of rear rotors. That is pretty incredible about how well the OEM rears are holding up.

Thanks guys... Most cracks are about the 3-5mm mark in length with the occasional one at 6-7mm but there aren't many cracks at the holes nearer to the edge...
