Don't believe everything people post here... I've got a '11 GT3 with 4500 miles and minimal options and have been offered $95K and $100K from 2 dealers for trade in two weeks ago. I'm not looking to sell now though - car is too good! I was thinking of "upgrading" to an RS, but I don't feel the delta in price to pay is worth it at this point for me. The lowly standard GT3 is enough car for me. It brings me joy on the track and street (although less so on the street!)

Kyrocks- you were offered 100!?!? That is a hell of an offer, most I've got for mine so far is 88.

With so very few gt3s left at dealerships I would hope to think we'd be holding very good resell value at least until the 991s are being delivered and the next new gt cars another 6 months from that? My dealer specced '11 was $117 out the door and I would be very happy to see resell holding somewhere near the $90's by the time the new year rolls around. Am I dreaming?

Data point:

2011 GT3, 9800 miles, leather, nav lift kit. Dealer trade at 95K. Considering capital reduction on my trade at 7% sales tax, I would have had to get 101.65 in a private sale.

I was only offered 95k on my 10 RS loaded with every option and only 630 miles! That was by three different dealers!

Greedy dealers! we are not in 2012 yet.

The trade-in value is $85k average for standard GT3 3.8, and low 100s for the RS. Your car with that mileage and loaded should be in the $110k trade-in range, and easily in the $120k retail.

Ignore the $95k offers, they are off by $15k.

The private market would have so many more cars if not for this reason. MA won't even let you buy private sale, and drive home legally, unless you come back and register with the physical title first.

"Hey, how about I just wire you 100k for that RS and you mail me the title. I can inspect when I get there to pick it up"...

Wow that is a low price and not to get off topic I hate to wonder what my CPO'd 08 GT3 with 6600miles is worth now.....hurts to think about what I paid for it 2.5 years ago and what I could get for it now. A huge ouch I am sure....

I too have been twice offered $102k by two different wholesale dealers. I have been offered as much as $105k by a private party. Sure it may be good money and I have my reasons for holding out. My point is that I don't buy into these crazy low ball selling points either.

Hardly. Model years do mean as much to GT3s and/or RSs as so few were made collectively with each four year run.
