Gorgeous PTS Turquoise Blue GTS & SharkWerks Exhaust?
That's right we figured we should have something for those other non 3 GT's as well! This on is for Larry too.... Yesterday it was neat to see a Carrera GTS ordered PTS (paint-to-sample) in Blue Turquoise (3AS) with red belts and gauges as well as the sport bucket seats and driven by a 6speed too! Already outfitted with the PSE (Porsche Sport Exhaust) it was given a more aggressive exhaust note with the SharkWerks Exhaust.
The blue goes with a few of the other fruit loops in the shop that day:
On the lift she goes:
Once up in the air here's a shot of the souped up 9A1 engine and the three piece PSE exhaust:
The center section is what's about to be replaced. This piece is the same one as found on any 2009+ 997.2 and on the inside has two sharp (and restrictive) 180 degree bends. Straighten those out and you get better flow and sound.
And here's your lighter, louder and better flowing replacement:
Off with the factory unit!
And installed with the PSE again (and you can re-use the factory tips):
Ready to go home:
And a quick clip of the start up:

I have the Sharkwerks rear by pass pipes on my GTS....this is the way Porsche should have shipped the car...but they don't and clog up the exhaust with a heavy rear muffler/resonator type of deal.
All Carrera/Carrera S/GTS absolutly need the Sharkwerks delete pipes.

Thanks man! I'll get some more clips as we have another local GTS coming end of next week. The 9A1 engine doesn't sound quite as rev-happy as the GT1-based GT3 but with those PSE sides and uncorked it's pretty neat
Thanks mdrums and glad you're having fun with it this way I'm guessing going forward these 911s are going to get quieter and quieter till they're Electric!

Thanks man! We initially did it as an alternative to the PSE as my car didn't have it at launch and there was a delay but it's actually neat to see some 3 years later/on that we're doing most of these on GTS' or cars _with_ the PSE as a combo. Shows that us Porsche folks like to hear a flat 6 eh

And another GTS.. this time with the aerokit
Thought I'd show you guys another unique Carrera GTS that came in this year.. This stunning white Carrera GTS already looked the part with its factory Aerokit package but didn't quite sound the part. Although pre-configured with the Porsche Sport Exhaust (PSE) system the car came in for the SharkWerks center exhaust replacement for a more aggressive sound.
Up on the lift she goes and notice the GT3-esque tail:
The center section is what's about to be replaced. This piece is the same one as found on any 2009+ 997.2 and on the inside has two sharp (and restrictive) 180 degree bends. Straighten those out and you get better flow and sound (and weight savings).
And on goes the SharkWerks exhaust mounted to the factory locations:
Very nicely outfitted and a 6speed too!
A simple, fast and fun way to modifiy one of our favorite looking GTS' and now ready to go home:
A few clips of various Carrera GTS' with the Shark Werks exhaust installed:
