Any problems with 245-19" Tires on front of 997.2 GT3?
Hey guys,
I want to buy 245/35ZR19 Michelin Pilot Sport Cups for the front of my 997.2 GT3. Any issues with this since OEM is 235/35ZR19?
I've done this on my C4S and previous Cayman S without issues. Just wanted to know if anybody has had any documented problems...i.e. ABS, etc. I wouldn't think so. The car is mostly used for the track. Thanks.

I'm running the 245/35/19 PSS tire currently.
The only issue you are going to potentially face is the height of the tire - and potentially on a big bump momentarily hitting the tire on the inside of the fender liner - the reason? - the front spring rate is very low.
Other than that, no ABS or other issue.
The difference in spec is very slightly more than 1/4 inch taller in height - so not a lot.
If you are running lots of negative camber by the shim only method, and thus large caster values (close to 9), the 1/4 inch can also come into play here on large turning angles. With a rotated strut - you will have no issue at all.
