+1 on the quality of the issue. I read through the latest Pano, Christophorus and Excellence last night - and hands-down Excellence is the best... Great product.

That is the general consensus here. It really helps that Exmag is tapped into this forum. Helps tremendously because everyone who buys the mag here knows him too.

+1 on excellence -- what an issue -- gavin's rs review by harris, cantrell air cooled hot rod build, etc... excellent excellence.

My copy is being hand-delivered by the USPS, which is to say that someone is walking it on foot from the publisher to Boston.

Started having one shipped to my house just to keep a "better" eye on when they hit mailboxes, and got mine same day as quickxotica.

Wish I could fix the USPS's wagon, but alas I cannot.

I'm here because there are drivers here, and because I fell for the same car y'all did when Porsche finally wised up and started giving us the good stuff.

No worries Pete. It's worth the wait.

Well I went for a session with Gavin as his passenger and the car is very fast, yes Gavin is fast but the car rides flat no lean through T1 and T17 but you dont feel the bumps as bad or bounce around like in my car which has a softer suspension than Gavins but Gavins car rides better. His cars suspension is reacted better to the bumps and keeping the tires on the ground but its not a soft mushy suspension. Really amazing stuff.

Tarmac Rally: Paved public road racing. (targa tasmainia, targa new zealand, targa newfoundland)
typically full of potholes and other related public road consistencies that upset the car at speed.

Tarmac shocks generally have different valving then race track shocks.
They are designed with more travel and droop. They are also softer. They get softer the harder you push them typically. They have a sweet spot. Rebound tends to be easier on the car in order to handle constant bumps without causing the car to bounce all over the road.
My car currently has similar shocks. I have the same valving as a World Rally Championship car. It is soft under load and soaks up bumps and jumps without upsetting the car. And although it inspires confidence, Im not sure if it is what i would want with slicks on a track.... but im willing to try it this year to find out

Yeah that's what I'm thinking...for driving Sebring and street use I would guess the Tarmac type of shock would be best. Really glass smooth tracks can have a stiffer suspension.
