Porsche dealer... As long as they have access to motorsport parts (which they should), they can order them in from Germany for you...
Because I couldn't confirm part numbers with any vendors, I ordered one of each stud type and the nut from a gen2 cup car and we compared them to the oem bolts with the motorsport techs... If they weren't right, I was just going to order gen1 studs and so on till I got it right... Thankfully, it seems to have been right the first time. They've now ordered in the rest of them and I'm awaiting fit off as soon as they get my PFC rotors sorted....

I checked the part numbers of the parts I originally ordered for my gen 2 with steel rotors and they are the same as yours:
Front studs 999 061 003 02
Rear studs 999 061 004 02
Nuts 999 076 083 01
Preliminary fitting confirmed that these were the correct fit and size. I will confirm once I have the car back with all 4 calipers not dragging on the ground behind me

As for the 997.1 guys with steel brakes (350mm), i think the bolt lengths are different and may therefore be from an earlier cup car???...

so referring to the exploded parts diagrams at AutoAtlanta ...
http://www.autoatlanta.com/porsche-p...-08/603-00.php
The pan head screw (M12x1.5x95 mm) for the rear brakes is common between the I450 (PCCB) and standard brakes ... so this would suggest the studs would be common as well
Looks like the right PN's for rear are
R : 999 061 004 02
Nut : 999 076 083 01
Front - not so clear but arguably not needed.![Big Grin](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
http://www.autoatlanta.com/porsche-p...-08/602-00.php
For the fronts, the I450 (PCCB) option specs 999 067 054 09 (M12x1.5x62) but the standard brakes use 999 067 053 09 (updated from 999 067 047 09 in 2008) which are M12x1.5x85. So here, a stud DESIGNED for PCCB might be too short.
For anyone who has the F stud : 999 061 003 02 ... how long is it ?
(can't believe I just asked a question containing "stud" and "how long is it" ... be nice ...)

On the gen 2 steel rotor cars, the front bolts are 62mm long (same as pccb). The online catalog doesn't list them correctly and I discovered this when ordering brake parts from sunset last year... The front studs that I've listed above are virtually the same length!

I have my dealer ordering a set of F&R for me. I'll report back the p/n's when I get my invoice. They are verifying if the 997.1 steel brake cars use 996.061.004.02 & 996.061.003.02 and if the p/n is for a complete assembly (i.e., nut and stud).

Northvan, is your 997.1 a PCCB car? I believe the 997.1 PCCB cars and both 997.2 steel and PCCB cars all run the same caliper bolts...
I checked the part numbers of the parts I originally ordered for my gen 2 with steel rotors and they are the same as yours:
Front studs 999 061 003 02
Rear studs 999 061 004 02

As mentioned above, these will likely be the correct part #s for the 997.1 PCCB guys but the 997.1 guys on 350mm steels will likely need cup studs off earlier cup cars that ran 350mm rotors...
Please double check and confirm with your dealer when ordering...

Amazingly pricing was similar here... Studs priced almost same price as yours and the nuts were $18ish each.... Funny thing is that when I bought one of each 3 weeks ago for testing, the nut was equal to the studs ($11ish)... Either that was an error or they're onto us and jacking up the prices

The whole message:
"The front studs are $10.46 ea. the rear are $10.36 ea and the nuts $23.00 ea. I don't know why those nuts are so expensive but they are a Porsche race part specific"

Yeah but what's a stud without good nuts ??? (think about it ...)
But seriously folks ... Is there anything remarkable about those nuts ? Captive washer ? Gold plated ? I'm tempted to order them just to see what makes them so special ... but since a few of you have already do you see anything about them that is interesting ?
