Default Track wheel choices for .2 RS (CenterLock)

I'm going to be buying a second set of wheels soon as track season gets going again. I'm most likely going to be running R6's and in the interest of cheaper tires and better sizing, I'd be leaning toward 18". Before I order anything, I wanted to run down the available choices.

18"
HRE CL series
Forgeline
Forged Alloys
BBS Motorsport (rub against brake calipers?)

19"
Stock Wheels (pricey!)
OZ Superforgiata (light)
OZ Ultraleggera (heavier than stock so not really interested)
HRE CL series
Forgeline
Forged Alloys (?)

Any others that I missed? I'm interested only in wheels that are the same weight or lighter than stock, and available in stock offsets so I don't have to worry about rubbing issues.

Contact Jeff from Pacific Western Performance he is a board sponsor and has great deal running on Forgeline wheels going right now for us rennlist guys. I just got a set of 19" Forgeline for my car and he and Dave from Forgeline have been nice to deal with.

I get me tires mounted on Tuesday...can't wait to get them on the car.

If I were buying wheels today it would be between forgeline and bbs. There was a thread recently about a member who had some problems with forged alloy, might want to look that one up.

GMG wheels

Several members like them here, I know there have been issues here this week though, I have never experienced negative issues.

I recently purchased Forgeline from Pacific Western. Great lightweight wheels, but best of all, awesome customer service from Jeff at Pacific....

See this F/S thread, seems like the best deal.
I don't understand why not sold??

For sale

These are 18 inch GMG wheels that came off of my 2011 GT3 RS. The wheels were purchased directly from James at GMG in So Cal for daily driver and track use. I have the PCCB and yes there was plenty of clearance between the ceramic rotors and the wheels.

The wheels and tires are as follows:

GMG wheels (2) rear wheels 18" x 12", (2) Hoosier R6 335/30zr18
GMG wheels (2) front wheels 18" x 9", (2) Hoosier R6 P255/35zr18
Porsche TPMS in each wheel
Powder coated red to match grey/red scheme gt3rs

These wheels have the Hoosier R6 tire with 2 track days on them (fontana 1 day and big willow 1 day). They were not heat cycled before I ran them. This package was purchased approximately February 2011. I am still detailing wheels as they have rubber marks on them from being at the track.

The reason I am selling these wheels is because my car has been lowered to the Euro ride height and the car hits a few bumps in the streets where I live because the roads are so bad.

I paid $ 5,900 for the wheels, $250 for the Porsche TPMS, and $ 1,200 for the tires, total 7,135 invested

Asking $ 4,750.00 obo, paypal preferred

I will pack wheels in boxes or moving blankets for shipping, but shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility.

StuJelly's wheels that Trakcar points out are a good deal.

If not check out Forgeline and call Jeff at Pacific Performance (board sponsor).....right now he is running a deal on Forgeline....for the price of used wheels you can get new Forgeline...same wheels you see raced in ALMS and Rolex Grand Am.

Forgeline is probably the best new wheel deal out there, but they don't come with TPS and tires that are good for at least another weekend..

You can repaint any wheel for $150.00ea if you want a high quality job.

Give me some sand paper, primer and spray paint and I could fix up StuJelly's red wheels for some perfect looking track wheels for about $5 per wheel...
