I tried...John doesn't care, doesn't like Porsche's or dealing with Porsche owners he said when i told him some other guys would buy them. He'd need a car for awhile to get the CL's fit and I can't leave my car with him for weeks.

Actually only black anodized wheels turn purple because anodizing does not do well with UV rays. Powder coated or painted wheels will not turn purple.

I guess I should partially take back part of my statement. Most powder coats and paints have UV protection, therefore hold up much better than anodizing in that regard. However, some Matte powder coats do not have the same resistance to UV that a gloss or semi gloss would, because they do not use a clear. But typically they would just turn more matte or chalky looking, not purple.....

They look similar to our WC3, but they are not Forgelines.

I have never bought something from someone else over the internet. I would assume a slightly higher level of confidence here on Rennlist since we are all Porsche guys... how is this supposed to work? the $ part?

GT3DE, I can vouch for Martin. Very standup and honest guy. And yes, usually Rennlisters are much more credible than outside sites/people.

A few possibilities: Paypal, Interac money transfer, draft or cheque in the mail.

Risk is generally minimal when buying from members of this community, especially in the GT sections since a lot of guys interact in real life and reputations are at stake.
