Love the matte finish, but I could not get the white to stay matte .
I had to go back to clear bra material as the white discolored badly, but so did my clear bra material on my old white GT3. Now I have 7 years warranty on the new XPEL stuff
Maybe I should of bought a blue or grey one

Photoshop my friend... the source is crappy but glad there's post-processing...
Spot on... seams are in fact the biggest challenge. My installer here can't do true, "seamless" wraps a la Premiere as they rely on Paintshield UK's computer-cut designs. We did and re-did a few panels and had to enlarge a various sheets to make things fit. In the end there are still areas not covered (e.g. the lower parts of rear bumper vents) and very fine seams which reveal a tiny bit of gloss. Look at the 1st pic, around the door hinge area and you'll see what I mean. Ain't perfect, but there's at logic to the madness and it still comes out looking neat and professional.
If one scrutinized the seams there'll be no doubt this is a wrap. Then again I don't think the objective is to "fake" matte paint in the first place...
You know, a big stone chip to my previous clearbra was the impetus to all this... be careful what you wish for

Just curious how your wrap is holding up? Also it looks like you decided on a darker grey than your initial picture. Really looks great.

^If I'm not mistaken, the xpel satin wrap is actually clear film that makes your original car paint in satin finish. I guess the car in the first pic had a matte colored wrap versus clear satin wrap.
