I'm running stock wheels for now on my '08 GT3. I'm just not at all a fan of them as they remind me of a daisy. They're currently shod with MPSCs so I will be replacing this setup with the new Pilot Super Sports. This is particularly important to me we have a fair bit of rain where I live.
I'm very happy to hear Michelin improved on the PS2s and at a market competitive price!

Some questions for those who are familiar with lighter, one-piece forged aftermarket wheels:
-How different did the car drive/feel after you went to the lighter weight units?
-Any regrets?
-I take it you ran the same tire sizes as OEM?
-Is it simple to transfer the tire pressure sensors from the stock wheels to the RG5s?
Thanks for your patience from a newbie. I'm just trying to get sorted and search doesn't nail it all down.

On my 07, I have Champion RS98s. The stock rims are in the basement. I can feel the difference when i go from one to the other. Very subtle, but I can notice it. The wheels simply feel more sensitive to the road. Hard to describe.
If you can notice the difference between running the car with the A/C on and the A/C off, then you're likely to be sensitive enough to feel the wheel weight different. Some people have said they can't feel the different with the A/C. Those people aren't likely to notice anything.

I had the RG5s on my '07 GT3 and loved them, great look, very light ...
you will love the PSS IMHO, they are not (quite) as fast as the MPSC, but they are not that much slower either, and their wear and wet weather characteristics are superb

RG5s are great wheels - I been looking also and these are sweet. I would buy new TPMS's and leave the stock ones on the the stock wheels.
I cant help you on sizes - I assume to replace with oem sizes also.
Does anyone have a deal on RG5s these days?

How is the ride? I take it the MPSC's feel stiffer or is it similar?

They are not as sticky as PSC but they are a better all rounder and will last longer ... so if you are optimizing for wet & durability its PSS if you want
optimal dry track then PSC is better ...
sorry cant be more descriptive ...
