The question is will it be version of the 918 RSR or something completly new that they will be entering?

So what does this mean with regard to Audi? Move or get out of the way?

Would be kinda cool if they were to play in the same sandbox.

Interesting point about Audi ... will Porsche take over from Audi, or will they run a 918 or R8 based platform ... or even a 991 based car in GT???

will it be a hybrid?

LMP's are full blown prototypes.
No road based platforms will suffice.
