The sunoco colors are awesome for the track. Not sure even I could drive it on the street!

Some of those colors do look like they dripped off a can of fizzy sugar water ... : )

Someone needs to order something really unique. There won't be many of these cars, and a crazy color will be very rare and cool. If anyone is serious, get ahold of me and I'll see if I can help.

I had a request for GT Silver... here's a shot at it. It's hard to fake the metallic, from a non-metallic base photo. Black uprights and wheels BTW

I have an inquiry in for Grey Black with Black wheels (thanks Schmidts Cat) but my dealer is not particularly motivated to push PTS. The only other color I've consider is Guards Red with Black wheels and black accent on the decals. Not sure I've seen this PS yet.

I'd like to keep the red/black interior, which limits exterior color choices IMHO.

So many cool standout colors through time...

-Dark Blue (non-metallic, Carrera 3.2/944 era) with silver wheels
-Irish Green
-Albert Blue
-Aubergine with black wheels
-Bahama Yellow (with Bahama yellow wheels? got the idea from an orange 997-1 GT3 RS with orange wheels and wing photographed in funny light at the track in Dubai)
-Tangerine
-Signal Yellow
-Signal Orange
-Jade Green
-Leaf Green
-Sand Beige with black or GT silver wheels
-Polo Red
-Carmine Red (late Carrera 3.2)
-Rubystone (964 RS)
-Crystal Silver/Silver Metallic (hard to go wrong...)
-Forest Green Metallic (my all-time 1980s-on fave)
-Slate Blue Metallic
-Kiln Red Metallic

Plus a lot of could-be-goods:
-Olive
-Crystal Blue
-Medium Ivory
-Fortuna Gray
-Beige Gray
-Bitter Chocolate
-Mocha Brown
-Marble Gray
-Cayenne GTS Red (blood red)

Only thing for me would be no graphics, period.

But maybe, since this is the last gasp for the Piëch/Mezger flat six, I would stick to 1965 colors, as a nod to the origin:

Standard Colors:
-Slate Gray (my pre-1975 all-time fave, but sadly too RS 3.8-ish)
-Ruby Red
-Enamel Blue
-Light Ivory
-Champagne Yellow (the show and press car color...)
-Irish Green (another fave)
-Signal Red

Special Order:
Dolphin Gray (very light...)
Togo Brown (now that would be rare, and a trip on a modern car!)
Bali Blue (very nice)
Black (the cheapest 1965 color option for the RS 4.0, by far)

Happy hunting...I hope a lot of you guys will choose to go PTS. It will make the cars that much cooler.
