Default 997.2 GT3 Front Girodisc rotor install with pics

Thanks for Craig at Rennstore for hooking me up on short notice

12 trackdays and front rotors are toast (verdict by multiple independent opinions):

No more crossdrilled for me, I hope these last longer and I learn to brake less!
some unsprung weight savings
overall a straightforward deal, the discs came with the mounting pins (which are not the anondized red oem) which was a nice surprise as the mounting hardware expense is 'bout $130 per side from suncoast. Only surprise was that the hardware bolts specified loctite red, to 8nm torque.
You cannot use the "Standard" pagids as apparently all non OEM hats need an extra cutout in the pad to clear the hardware attaching the hat to the rotor.
now any suggestions as how best to bed the rotors and new pads, I know usually you want old pads on new rotors but this was not an option.

I have slotted (Actually dimpled) PFC Rotors and hats that fit oem sized PFC08 pads. Or any pad.
I also prefer them because the hats and rotors "teeth" together so the bolts that hold them together do not take and torque. Looks fancy too. Price is not bad, I think around $1900 for both and $500.00 for the replacement discs.

The CUP hats work, but the holes are oval for the lug nuts on a CUP car.
Just to make it prefect Orbit machined hats just for the CL's but I have 2 days on the standard CUP hats and no problems.
It's the same stuff they have to run in IMSA on the CUP cars this year.

Adding front brake ducts next week... I will try to get some pictures of that as well.
