Living in Vancouver,... the RE11's are FANTASTIC!
It's the rain. I remember I used to be able to do 85km/hr in the pouring rain out to Mission on HWY#1 with the 996.2 GT3. With the RE11's and the 997.2 GT3, I am able to do 125km/hr in the SAME conditions (standing water).
Compared to the MPSC's, they are less grippy. How much? I can't quantify, but enough for me to notice. However, they are a great value and fits what I am looking for. FWIW, the Tire Rack ratings were top notch too.
