Shifter Vibrations

Have a 2010 GT3 that has a shifter vibration in 6th that occurs only during deceleration. If I press shifter towards 5th the mechanical vibration goes away. I think it may be a linkage adjustment. Any ideas? If you guys think it may a linkage adjustment is this an easy DIY?
