Default Seat Belt Chime

I saw on another thread here recently about shutting off the seat belt chime warning.

Does anybody here have the sequence in the PIWIS where to find it?

Thanks.

For the airbags and seat belts:

the sequence procedure for unhooking the air bag warnings:
Program car to ignore seat belt latches, thorax airbags and AWS.
• From the main PIWIS menu
• Select POSIP
• Select CODING
• Scroll down the list to find entries for driver and passenger thorax airbags and turn them to off/no.
• Scroll down to find entries for AWS and driver and passenger seat belt buckles. Turn all
• Driver Thorax Airbag : No
• Passenger Thorax Airbag : No
• Driver Seatbelt Buckle: No
• Passenger Seatbelt Buckle: No
• AWS : No

Thank you. We hit the airbags but missed the chime.

Very helpful post.

Thank you.

Always so much easier when I hand my guy detailed instructions.

Thanks again.

I installed the GT3 Club Sport Buckets in my .2 and handed the above instructions to my dealer, sans the seatbelt warnings. Since I don't have thorax airbags, I made sure they disabled AWS as well.

Everything seemed fine once I got the car back, but I did notice that the Airbag light will blink 3 or so times after I start the car. I'd be curious to know if yours does the same. I assume this is a quick indicator to anyone inspecting the car that the Airbag system has been overridden to some degree.

Mine does that but no warnings, light or chimes other than the initial startup.

Yes mine is the same. Blinks a couple of times at start up and goes out. I also have no lights or chimes after start up.

It will go back to normal if you put the stock seats back and turn the stuff back on.
