Black with black wheels. I'll keep the decals.

I thought about turning mine all black, but then it looks like Darth Vader's car. Part of the appeal is the boy racer look.

Can't make a bad choice. I spec'd as you did Black/Black but then reconsidered the detailing requirements (as Mike said) and switched to White/White. Take the white wheels off and put on my Forged Alloy anodized black for a "good girl gone bad" look when tracking.

Any combo looks good on this car. And like Mooty says, it is all about the engine and keeping the spec light and not loading it up with crap.

Pete:

I'm right with you on the philosophy of the car. Mine will be a "near-stripper'.

However, does that mean you will be ordering PCCBs? I'm tempted by their light weight but also don't believe in their durability for the track.

Previously I ordered all cars with PCCB. Not the 4.0, learned my lesson ( I am a heavy tracker and admitted PCCB rotor killer). This one is spec'ed steel and then I will be shopping most likely for a brake upgrade kit.

Exactly! Here is a 3.8 RS in all black with silver wheels. Absolutely classy! The RS 3.8 would look better with red calipers though. Also attached are a few photoshops of a RS 4.0 -the graphics.

Not feeling the black either.

In my opinion a car like the 4.0 RS should be white.

Wow, I like the black with silver wheels. I may order the parts to do that to mine. Have my mirrors wrapped with CF and buy some silver wheels.

Cool

The black in the photo doesn't do it justice. It looks more like Basalt black because of the exposure. I am sure Black with black wheels will be Evil for sure.

I'm likely in the minority, but I prefer the hood unpainted like the GT2RS. However, I doubt Porsche would make the exception if one wanted one that way. Anyway, I'd go for white with standard brakes and put on a set of gold bbs.

I hate the stickers on the Black car - specifically the front end. It is way too much

Another thing...Black is horrible to keep clean and keep from scratching & swirl marks

If I was going to buy one it would have to be the white version

regardless Enjoy it, it will be Bad@$$
