I saw the build sheet on the 3RS. Their asking price was the original out the door price. It's got leather, white stitching, sport chrono, lift, audio upgrades, black option ($7k as I recall), leather wheel, other stuff I've forgotten.

Wow really nice cars at Hennesey. They sure want a premium for them but they sure are nice. I would think the price on the 2RS will have to be dropped to sell it.

I have purchased 3 cars from them. I have never had any trouble doing business with them. Talk to John Dissen. I bet if you show up with your check book the GT2RS can be had at list. It could also be the cars are on consignment and Hennessey is using them as a show room draw.

I've also purchased (3) from them......... and the dealership is outstanding. (In-fact, the price on the GT2RS could very well be a typo, you never know. I spotted on a few months back and let them know).

Supply and demand ... and information. The last two GT2 RS's I heard about were going at msrp and $5K "over" respectively. $30K is a fine thing to write as an asking price, but only an uninformed buyer would be duped into paying such an inflated premium. Ironically, the selling of the 2RS illustrates its relative appeal compared to the 4.0 -- it's too early to be expecting the 2RS to draw attention and until the 4.0 is done and until the 991 has lost its novelty, high end 997's will have to weather some depreciation before finding their real secondary market balance.

I deal with John dissen as well, great guy. They will have to come down on that price point for the 3RS as well. It was a dealer spec car and they tried to sell it to me when it 1st came in

Seems like Matt has the whole crew. I even go in the back and bug Greg with tons of questions while he's working on my car
