You have an 1198R? I have 1098S.
Thanks to everyone for input on all the greens. I really struggled to make the decision on this car...and now that I've done it I know this is the right car!

The car is at Strong's in Utah.
I wish I could say I got some screaming deal...but I didn't really. The guy who ordered it did decal delete and no contrasting color. It is all green. After 500 miles, he took it to Strong's to sell on consignment and indicated he would take nothing less than MSRP - otherwise he'd just keep the car. Kind of a funny story about why he is selling, but nothing significant to the car and not really worth going into......
I heard of it incidentally almost, from a Rennlister who was steering me toward a white one they also had, which it turned out I wasn't interested in.
At first I was leaning towards a white/red at Isringhausen. Asking price on that car was maybe 9K off MSRP with just under 1000 miles. It did not have the SC or lift. The purist in my liked the no lift, but I secretly wanted it fearing scraping every time on my driveway. Absence of SC was a plus but in the big scheme of things not that big of a deal. FWIW, the guys at Isringhausen were awesome to deal with.
MSRP on the green was 163, with lift and yes SC. It is a little disappointing to not be getting any discount on a used RS...but I think they all know the color is rare and that the car would sell at that price. Hard to consider it "used" with 500 miles, but of course it is. For a data point, the Bev Hills blue went for 6K off, new. The guys as Strong are also awesome to deal with. When I was in my 20's and living in SLC I bought a Jetta GLX from them before it had arrived from Mexico, and these two car purchases have been the best car buying experiences I've ever had. They also managed to get a trade in price on my M3 (at a Euro car - but not Eurocar in OC - small dealer in LA) that was approaching a pretty decent private party sale price, and that car is being picked up tomorrow.
So, no discount off MSRP, but the dealer is painting the wing and mirrors black, adding the rear "GT3RS" emblem, and they are adding the .1 decals (which, who knows, maybe I'll remove down the road but easier to get them now and remove later). Still struggling on the mouth. At first I thought the car really needed more contrasting black, but the more I stare at pics (which is like all day long!) I start to like the clean green look on the front end especially. I am almost starting to like it ALL green, even mirrors and wing. That said, yes, those bits will be painted black, but I think I've decided to leave the mouth green for now. I can always paint it later.
Delivery should be in a week or so. I am so excited to get this car. After several days of struggling to make a decision, I feel like a fool now - of course it should have been green all along! I also felt pressured to make a decision fast. In my GT3 search, once I had decided Yes I am going to get a car, I saw 3 cars I was interested sell right before my eyes (white/red in Riverside, riveria blue at bev hills, and mex blue/black/orange on ebay). I know many of these cars are sitting on dealer lots for months, but those 3 sold just in the time I had been seriously looking.

Only thing I would add, like I will do on mine, but in red is add GT3RS in black on the rear and on the bottom front of the doors a la GT2RS/GTS. I like the MK1 stripe, but seems like going backwards.
Black wheels perfect, leave mirrors and endplates alone, you don't need photoshop, just look at the picture. Less is more, even more so in that color. Perfect.
If I wanted to spend money on my car I would make mouth, mirrors and end plates white, just add the 2 little GT3RS decals on the front bottom doors. Wheels black or silver, decals black.
As it is, I'll just add the red 2 little decals and, vinyl wrap the mouth white again and clear wrap the rest.
