Extended Warranty/Service Contract from EasyCare
My dealer in Houston recommended EasyCare for an extended warranty.
Naturally, the dealer had good things to say about EasyCare.
Anyone have experience or comments (good/bad/indifferent)?
Thanks.

subscribed. When I contacted EasyCare myself because I thought $5K included heavy fee to dealer they referred me back to the dealer. Before I fork over $5K, I want to make sure they cover my motor and gearbox. Everything else is a wearable item that I can live with

We had EasyCare extended warranty when we bought our used Boxster from a BMW dealer. Generally good, and covered a number of issues. But the biggest was the failed coolant tank (common problem). They treated it as an uncovered ancillary component, as though it was simply a coolant expansion bottle as found on many cars. Of course P-car's version is anything but. I argued profusely, but in the end I ended up paying for it.

It worked fine with me on my previous car (M6), but as usual it'll depend on the dealer ability to justify and charge the repair. Momentum BMW West in Houston did a good job.
Nevertheless, I got Porsche's CPO to get the extra 2 yr and 100k miles for my recently acquired GT3.

If you have a good shop that you work with, ask him which company he likes to work with. Usually the same warranty guy comes around, and is all about the relationship. Whatever they tell you to go to, is the one that works.

I just bought a 7 yr/70k from date of purchase from fidelity for my 2007 RS
Purchased it from my local Porsche dealer and haggled on price and saved a few bucks... IIRC it was $4200
$100 deductible
Have had one claim and it went thru with no issue
