Default Part # change on PCCB Pads for RS 2007?

So today I went to change the pads champion gave me for my 07 RS and the correct part numbers on the outside of the box but both front and rears have different part numbers on the pads themselves?

On the pads here’s what it says

Front: 943.02
Rear: 942.91

On the box
Front: 948.02
Rear: 947.01

I thought what’s on the box is right. Are the new #'s acceptable? Anyone know what those are. 911slow, if you are out there, I know you'll know!

On the rear PCCB pads I have for my 997.1 GT3, the rear box says 947.01. That pad itself says 942.01.

I remembering going through this with Suncoast to confirm this was correct. Perhaps the RS simply uses a different number.

Individual pads cannot be ordered from Porsche.
When you order you must use the part number for the box with the set of pads which for a '07 is now:

F: 997 351 948 02
R: 997 352 947 01

and for a '08 is:
F: 997 351 948 90
R: 997 352 947 90

When you open the box you will find inside pads that have the individual part numbers:

'07
F: 997 351 943 02
R: 997 352 942 01

'08
F: 997 351 943 90
R: 997 352 942 91

So you have the correct pads for the front and rear box wise
you have the correct part number for the front individual pad
but your rear pads part number is for an 08 RS.

Don't know if that is a mistake or if they are interchangeable.

911Slow, you rock man. Thanks. Yea the front match what you have above. I confirmed the rear box is 947.01 but the pad is 942.91....for an 08. What's the best way to find out if this is a new change?

The dealer doesn't seem to know.

There is a difference between the 07 and 08 pad. The 08 pad does not have the little chamfer / wedge cut out of the pad at the front. The 07 does. Not sure if that makes a difference, but I was able to compare the 2 pads side by side and the 08 was missing that cut-out.

Don't know if there are any other differences. My guess is no, but that's gut feel.

The rears should have that chamfer / wedge cut out too right? The rears in the box do not which would suggest it is wrong.

Checked the latest PET and it still lists separate part numbers, for 07 and 08.

I just checked. My rears (uninstalled) have the wedge cut out of both ends of the pad.
