True... And it was not Chips bone stock car where the door on the outside of the turn scaped the pavement... Actually I think I died from that hangover. Or maybe it was the wrestling match I got sucked into between Kevin and Joe Limoge (orange '70 911 ST)

Quite impressive.
Yes I've done a few 2:28's...saved them on my Harry's Lap Timer. I'm mostly consistent with 2:29's though and a few 2:30's int he lowly Carrera S. It depends on me and how the R888's (Rennlist Offical Hated Tire) is holding up.

Get this....Chris Hall did a 2:26 in my car on wore out R888 with my 240lb dead weight in the car. He was a cool as a cucumber, chatting away lap after lap. He figures with newer tires less weight in the car he could do a 2:24 in the lowly Carrera. I've got work to do!

This is why when I see guys in GT3 and GT3RS doing 2:26-28's I don't get excited...those track based cars should be doing a lot better than that. Guys that race in GT3 and gutted out Carrera S cars should be in the upper 17-18's at Sebring.

Age and how ya feel...ha, ha I dont feel for ya......

Me....45 yrs old closer to 46 now, full of metal bolted in me, 1 leg (new Cheater Leg is coming off for weight savings, or to hit you over the head with), less HP, soft suspension, heavier car and I still weight prolly 80lbs more than you, short cakes.

To put it in perspective, Chris Hall coached a friend of mine last year at a Chin event in the summer heat that had a 07 GT3 on Hoosiers R6 and turned 2:19's. There's some perspective.

Well I thought I had a guy from the Paneristi forum going to buy my watch. We spoke for a long time on the phone, I gave him numerous ways to verify me, from my local Panerai AD to even the company's I work for. I came down on price for a great deal for him. Now he does not return calls...poof he's gone.

Fingers crossed for someone to come along for a super steal on a great Panerai.

Sin, I'm not sure if Chris will be at Chin in June....normally he's there coaching someone and I know a few racers will be there testing cars.

it is very bad time now to sell any luxuries. look at what happens to jewelry industry. recession is no joke. unless you really need money IMHO it is not a good time to sell at all.

Yet the industry that seems to be recovering fastest it the luxury retail stores. Neiman/Saks stores are up 10% in sales and Walmart is down 1%.

2:19 in a 07 gt3 is crazy fast. Reter needed a cool January morning to do the same time in his RS. I need to get down there more often than once a year
